Interactive Symposia

Interactive Symposium-08 | Innovations in Intervention: Toward an HIV Cure 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM • Four Seasons Ballroom 1 CME Objectives: At the completion of the session, participants will be able to: • Describe how nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI)-induced protease activity can activate inflammasome and eliminate HIV-infected cells • Summarize how single-cell transcriptomic analysis from clinical samples identifies potential therapeutic targets • Explain how structural understanding of HIV envelope protein conformation can lead to therapeutic strategies Target Audience: This session is directed to clinicians, researchers, and trainees interested in novel strategies for HIV cure. Level of Knowledge: It is assumed that the participants are familiar with the basic understanding of how HIV persists during antiretroviral therapy
