CROI FOUNDATION

The CROI Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit professional education organization that operates exclusively for the charitable and educational purpose of organizing, promoting, and presenting the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) Duties of the Board of Directors • Oversee the long-term financial and administrative integrity of CROI • Work closely with the CROI Scientific Program Committee (PC) and the Conference Manager (IAS-USA) to accomplish the mission of CROI • Approve nominations and rotations for members of the CROI PC, the CROI PC Chair and Vice Chairs, and the Community Liaison Subcommittee (CLS) • Ensure that the CROI PC is responsible for the scientific program content of CROI • Enter and oversee the partnership agreement with the CROI Conference Manager (IAS-USA) • Have the sole and absolute discretion to implement or veto any policies, procedures, or actions taken or proposed to be taken by the CROI PC, CLS, or the CROI Conference Manager that would pose a substantial risk of preventing the Corporation at any time from qualifying or continuing to qualify as a 501(c)(3) organization or that might cause the loss of such qualifications
