Symposium S-10 LEVERAGING THE PLATFORM: RESPONDING TO NONCOMMUNICABLE DISEASES Room 6 C 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Target Audience: This session is directed to clinicians and scientists who are interested in understanding the potential for synergies between global efforts to reduce premature mortality from noncommunicable diseases and global efforts to improve the quality and length of life of people living with HIV. Level of Knowledge: It is assumed that participants are familiar with basic clinical management of HIV and a range of noncommunicable diseases, including prevention, care and treatment. Some familiarity with heath care systems in low resource settings will enhance the value of this session.
